The Legend
Kislovodsk got its name just because of its "sour" waters. And the name of the springs "narzan" has its own legend: once near the water source of the Narts (heroes of epic legends of the Caucasian peoples) there was a pillar - "nart-san" - which meant "bogatyr-water" and there was a cut-out on the inscription: "Spring water gives strength to the young and restores health to the elderly."
In historical chronicles, Kislovodsk narzans were first mentioned in the 18th century – in 1717, by order of Peter the Great, studies of the Caucasian region began to search for natural water suitable for the treatment of various diseases.
Since 1803, the resort town of Kislovodsk begins its history and the fame of the healing water of the Caucasian lands quickly spread throughout Russia.

The main differences of Kislovodsk narzans consist in the degree of their mineralization and in a set of trace elements, which allows you to distribute all narzany waters into three groups:
- "Common narzan" is mined at a depth of 10-15 m and is characterized by weak mineralization (up to 2 g/l). It is used mainly for drinking.
- "Dolomite narzan" - has a higher mineralization up to 5 g/l and is mined at a depth of 100-150 m. It is used for drinking treatment: improves metabolism and accelerates the elimination of toxins from the body.
- "Sulfate narzan" - these mineral waters have the highest mineralization (5.2-6.7 g/l) due to the content of magnesium and sodium sulfates in them. This type of narzan is mined at a depth of more than 400 m and has the most pronounced therapeutic effect.
"Kislovodskiy spring" mineral water of well No. 2PE-bis has a total mineralization of about 4.5 g/l (permissible range 2.8-6.3 g/l) and contains the following basic elements (g/l):

Natural mineral water was extracted from the 2PE-BIS WELL AT A DEPTH OF 450 M. The spring is located on the territory of the specially protected ecological and resort region "Caucasian Mineral Waters" of the Podkumsky section of the Kislovodsk mineral water deposit.

"The mineral water of well No. 2 PE-bis has the stability of the macroionic and micro-component composition and is characterized as carbon dioxide, ferruginous, medium mineralized, bicarbonate-sulfate-magnesium-sodium-calcium composition. In accordance with the accepted classifications and regulatory documents, the water of well No. 2 PE-bis belongs to the therapeutic table waters of the Kislovodsk hydrochemical type "Sulfate narzan".

The supply of mineral water takes place via a mineral pipeline directly from the 2PE BIS well. Water is supplied to 4 combined containers of 50 cubic meters each
From all 4 tanks, through the connecting comb, water enters the titanium filter unit, where it undergoes primary mechanical cleaning
After mechanical cleaning with titanium filters, the water undergoes antibacterial treatment with ultraviolet lamps

Production process
The whole process of production and bottling of products takes place directly at the source and without contact with the atmosphere
The mineral water that has undergone mechanical and biological treatment enters the cooling unit
The cooled mineral water undergoes a deaeration procedure to remove the gaseous impurities dissolved in it
After deaeration, the water enters the saturator, where it undergoes the procedure of saturation with carbon dioxide under pressure.
The final stage of production includes bottling, labeling, thermal packaging, palletizing and warehousing
